Joy loves Pokemon, and will do everything she can to help one. but midnight was the one time of day she dared not venture outside her cottage, for that was when predators arose to make the forest a dangerous place... even for her.

But Jazz was a night creature, her opposite in every way, and she knew he yearned to show her the world he lived in. For a long time she lacked the courage to follow him outside, knowing better than to take a blind walk under the moon where she'd be easy prey for the first hungry mouth to pass by. That didn't stop the Greninja from trying, bit by bit, coaxing her with gentle patience and testing the boundaries of her comfort zones.

In the end she nervously accepted on June 21st. She'd banked on it being the shortest night of the year to cut the hours that would leave her blind, but.... when she saw where Jazz took her to, she realized she'd worried all that time for nothing.

This was a clear night, with the moon shining brightly on the lake and trees, making her surroundings visible even to her eyes. The forest was beautiful... and peaceful, with a quiet ambiance that melted the tension out of her limbs with ease. This.... this was the world Jazz lived in, and she'd stepped in it at last.

It was reassuring to know that no matter how different everything looked at night, the land she called home remained unchanged at its core... And she had Jazz to thank for helping her realize it.
