Around a year ago I had this project featuring Of Ragnarok, featuring Fenrir and many other characters, some based on the norse mythology and others were made up and others were somewhere in between, just like this lion here, Yareth Surtr.

Yareth was a son of Muspelheim who strifed for the power of dragons. He aquired the ancient magic of Bloodfire that gave him power to rival dragons and gods, tho it feeded on his life. So he set out to become immortal.
After long years he had finally reached his goal, a forbidden and forsaken temple deep in the highest vulcano of Muspelheim. Deep in there lay a power locked away by the Aesir, just like Fenrir. As Yareth reached out and called upon that power he cast away his mortal bonds and ascended. He then was Yareth Surtr.

When he emerged from the crumbling temple he had become a god himself, and he had seen the truth and would play a part in the days of Ragnarok.
