That it would, and such can be quite costly. I am also unable to fabricate things from full scratch at the moment anyways. I need the rest of my heavy tools here, and I need to be sure I can operate a torch and bring a few various acids into this apartment complex.
If this place doesnt allow it, it may be another year until I can legally craft, unless I can make friends with the local jewelers here to allow me to rent their work space.

She's allergic to all of the typical jeweling metals; Gold, Silver, Nickel, Copper even. She's stated flat out that she can only wear surgical steel earrings.

Yikes... That does make things quite difficult. The only other alternative I can think of regarding that is to carve a ring out of stone, but then that would make setting the stone itself rather difficult without any means to solder or keep it secure.
I am still just getting my foot in the door as far as crafting becoming a full career, as I have plenty of practice shaping, hammering, and working with silver and gold, but it is the advanced crafts and special things that all need to be learned hands on. At some point, I'll have enough time to do some research to see if there are any good substitutes, and if not, I might be able to find a premade steel setting that could work with it. Big if on that last part though.
