#6: Kung Fury

Sorry I missed the deadline on this one, but better late then never right? A bit of an unorthodox one this time, but a true hero nonetheless; Kung Fury came from seemingly out of nowhere and punched his way into our hearts with good ole' 80's cheese. I knew nothing about this insipid movie when it was first made, instead I learned about it from a friend who burst in dressed as the character for a convention with absolutely no explanation... which, all things considered, is pretty fitting.

While I may not have the long standing nostalgic love and memories and emotional connection the Kung Fury like I do with others in this list, he is by no means less fitting of a spot in this countdown. I mean, with the way things are today, we really do just need a hero who can stand up and punch Hitler square in the face (or balls) just like Captain America did back in the day! Is this a political statement? No. But if you want to make it one, go for it.

This took a lot of time to accurately draw a recreation of Captain America issue one and I think it turned out pretty well, so be appreciative of the amount of effort I put into making a dumb joke!
