So, it's coming up on a full year since I started to seriously do this art thing. I kind of look back with mixed emotions - I do feel like I've made progress, but I also feel like I didn't improve as much as I should have (considering how much time I've wasted not doing art up until this point, I need to step on the gas to catch up). I am proud of the fact that I simply kept with it though. I've tried and failed to start doing art many times before this and this is the first time it's actually stuck. I can honestly say I miss doing art if I don't at least doodle everyday, and that's huge for me.
Thanks everyone for jumping on the (rather empty) wagon and following along with the shenanigans of this dog-thing! Here's hoping for some exponential growth in 2018!

I can relate to feeling the need to catch up and making up for lost time.
However, the fact of the matter is that you did improve. A great deal, in fact. And I can tell you put in a lot more effort than I did this year. 2018 may very well be your year for exponential growth. And it'll be MY year for closing the gap! ;)
