HEAD

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
The head is very comfortable to wear. Tight enough that it doesn't move around much but loose enough that nothing pokes or squeezes uncomfortably. It is lined with a soft balaclava liner. The ventilation is great. The mouth lines up nicely with my own nose and mouth so that there is a fairly constant airflow, and the maker created a vent in the foam in the top of the head under the hair tuft that allows heat to escape. The vision is also fantastic. There is almost no blind spot other than the typical tunnel vision that fursuit heads all have.

Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume piece looks from the outside.
The appearance is spot on. The maker did a great job of capturing my character. The craftsmanship and attention to detail and symmetry with the carving and shaving is perfect.

HANDS AND FEET

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear these pieces of your costume.
They are extremely comfortable to wear, both hands and feet. There is no lining in the hands, but the fur backing is trimmed and soft, so that is not an issue. The feet are built on slippers and extremely comfortable to wear. It has been almost 6 years since I received the costume, and all parts are still holding up, however the soles of the feet have started to show some wear and could probably use new soles at some point.

Appearance is great. No complaints.

As with everything else, the tail is extremely comfortable and easy to wear. The original belt loops to attach it are still holding up beautifully and I have never made any repairs.

She was always quick to respond and provided plenty of WIPs as she worked.

Were any deadlines missed or was it done early?
My deadlines were loose, however the costume was finished and shipped promptly after payments were complete.


How satisfied are you with the overall quality of your project?
Beyond satisfied. The costume is turning 6 years old in March and has never needed a single repair. She has never popped a seam and nothing has ever come unglued. The entire suit is extremely durable and has held up to quite a bit of rough use.


How satisfied are you with the overall customer service and professionalism of the maker?
I can't comment on the professionalism of this maker because she was a friend, but as far as the interactions around the suit went, she was wonderful to work with.


Describe your experience. What were the pros and cons of working with this maker? And any final comments?
Zero cons. At all. This maker was fantastic to work with and the product is top quality. I can do things to my head without breaking her that horrify most suit owners because their own suits would fall apart. I hope to commission her again in the future!
