Here's another picture of Ella. I was experimenting some more with my wireless flash and I liked how this one came out, so I thought I'd post it! I like how it helps show how much this cat didn't want to have it's picture taken XD. Well, it does like to have it's picture taken, but maybe not with my bright flash in its face.

Haha, she looks so disgruntled, what a fun shot! You might have gotten some serious cat red-eye if you weren't able to hold the flash to the side. x)
I use to have a flash extension cable (nuthin' wireless), but I lost it soon after buying it, so everyone gets equal flash-blasting-in-the-face treatment until I get another, lol.

Aw that stinks you lost the cable :(. How much do they cost? I hope they`re not that expensive. Do you have an external flash? Perhaps in the mean time if it`s possible, you could try bouncing the flash? I used to do that or use my Gary Fong diffuser. That helped a lot and helped to eliminate overexposure of highlights, and helped to give a soft flash as opposed to a "blast in the face" kind of flash XD.
It wasn't too bad, probably $50 or less. I usually bounce the flash (a Speedlite 580EX II) off ceilings, but sometimes, I would want to get a different mood by holding it off to the side, or pointing it in a crazy angle, and that's why I got that cable. I don't see how I could've possibly lost it, I hope it turns up! x)
