This is one of those awkward things about taurs; the lower half usually ends up being either equine or canine in physique instead of the actual animal in question. It's trickier to do but can be done: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/20492013/
(I do love your dinosaur taur ones because those look like the dino in question!)
I love Rocket, and seeing Rocket as a taur is cool; it'd be even cooler to see him with the lower proportions of a raccoon too!
