The person impersonated here is Goombella the sassy goomba gal. As a somehow spheric chicken Kenny fits well in that goomba suit. Her wings however stick out of the disguise making Goombella look like a para-goomba.
Oddly enough Goombellas description for a para-goomba states that she's jealous of its wings so that means her wishes are now finally granted.
