Drew this a couple months back. Might've been a year. My memory's not really up to snuff, but the point is I never got around to posting her. So... voila.

Psychic (can blast through all but the strongest mental barriers effortlessly while awake, unconsciously causes terrible nightmares in those around her in her sleep)
Eldritch (hard to damage through conventional, physical weaponry, and rapidly regenerates. Vulnerable to energy beams)
Glimpse of reality (she can briefly drop the minor glamour she keeps on herself. The sight of her true form is more than enough to drive humans mad)
Weaknesses
Starlight (if the stars are in the right position, she falls into a long, deathlike sleep)
Energy (surprisingly susceptible to rare forms of energy beams, but practically impervious to regular radiation)
Background Info
Cthylla is a bit of an odd one. She showed up in town with little ceremony, opening a bookstore specializing in both buying and selling rare and unique merchandise. She also moonlights as the Academy's librarian on the weekends, and is quite severe on people who mistreat the books within. She has a soft spot for Gigi, but those who know Cthylla best know it's in the young French girl's best interest to stay far away from the librarian.
Cthylla is exceedingly dominant in almost any environment. She seems confident to the point of delusion, and appears to have the notion that everything in her domain is hers by right. This would not be a problem if her moral compass wasn't so clearly built with different schematics than most of humanity's. As it is, no one has yet been able to catch Cthylla in a submissive mood, and it seems to almost be out of her psychological range.
She has a special friendship with Ambrose Whateley; indeed, he might be the only person on the island she addresses as an equal, instead of beneath her. That said, the daughter of Dagon enjoys special treatment from her, a sort of teacher's pet, if teachers had bloodthirsty cults at their beck and call.
Cthylla's one and only human trait may be her habit of sleeping in. Her love for her pillow is well known, and her store is perhaps the last to open on any given day. Waking her up early is done at one's own risk, but when she rouses herself and walks around groggily and blearily, one might almost be tempted to call her cute.
Her appearance is, in fact, a glamour. Seeing her true form could easily drive humanity to madness, simply because of the implications of something like her existing.
Cthylla's mine, Cthulhu is Lovecraft's, mentioned characters are their creators'. Of special mention are Gigi, who is
heckfire 's, and Ambrose, who is
zytrax51723 's. Tiny Hippo belongs to somebody online, but he's not mine that's for sure.
