This is a really neat game! At first I was blazing through it, no problem at all (I used to play Tetris Attack on an emulator a lot ^^), but then the blue flame boss took me out...
I think I understand most of the game, matching food squares heals you, matching element squares damages your opponent. I've never gotten my character fat, though...I think my HP is always too low.
Great game, overall! ^_^ Maybe you could teach me some things about making games...

more ideas! :D
1. How about music that changes?
i mean that for the last level i think that the music should be more dramatic.
2. how about a story that explains how the game happened?
i mean the game itself is great but how does floody get himself involved in all of this?

>thank god that I have a slow compewter......makes it easier to make combos
This game isn't basically affected by the computer's performance ^^;
Tentatively, this game is fixed to 30fps ^^

I do not understand the whole "Hugely fat" thing, but it is an entertaining game. :)
I beat it on all difficulties and opened the "Secret Gate" and beat that one too- I have all the prizes...
As my first order as Queen of Dragons, I shall make the red dragon "King" my personal servant. (Wealthy woman's laughter) Gwohohoho. ^w^
(Also, in such a Kingdom is the "Diet and Exercise" program enforced rather than "time in Jail" for Criminals? O_o )

Wow! I think I like this game the best!
I do have one criticism though: Why are you able to flip tiles vertically?
To the best of my knowledge you could never do that in “Panel de Pon.”
I’d also like to ask why can’t you use the D-Pad when you’re using the joystick?
I find that I can’t make fast movements using the left analog stick when I should be able to use the D-Pad.

>Why are you able to flip tiles vertically?
It's because I gave the request of that vertical system.
>why can’t you use the D-Pad when you’re using the joystick?
To tell the truth, I don't know of difference of D-Pad and Joystick. Maybe I'm using the joystick, so I think I can make you use the joystick only.

You’re welcome! ^o^
>It’s because I received the request of that vertical system.
I guess that person doesn’t understand how the game is supposed to work.
>I don’t know of difference of D-Pad and Joystick.
I have a Logitech Dual Action Pad, which is similar to the DualShock on the PlayStation, so the D-Pad would be on the same place as on a DualShock.
D-Pad is short for “directional pad,” if that helps.
Oh, and some PC Joysticks use the term “POV hat” in place of “D-Pad.”

Hhmm... But the vertical system seems fresh. I guess each has merits and demerits.
>...D-Pad...
Oh I understood! I considered, and then found why D-Pad can't be used.
Beforehand I say "Sorry" to you because I won't improve it, but when I create new game, maybe D-Pad would be able to be used.

You have a point there. Many puzzle games change up some of the rules to keep the game exciting. Bust a Move (Puzzle Bobble) for example originally allowed you to stick bubbles on the ceiling but in the third game bubbles could only stick to other objects and would bounce of the ceiling.

Hmm . . . Why couldn’t you use it?
>...but when I create new game, maybe D-Pad would be able to be used.
I’d like to see that. My Dual Action Pad does have a mode switch button that temporally swaps the D-Pad and left analog stick, but it doesn’t work in all games, that’s why I think it’s better when a game natively supports the use of a D-Pad.

Yeah, data for the POV hat is sent in a different way than the joysticks.
I have experimented a little in game design before, and I know a few tricks.
Though I highly doubt that I’ll ever be happy enough with any of my experiments to make a full game.
Music seems to be more my thing.

This game over the years obviously has been revised several times. I just recently plzyed it and ditto, loved it. ^^ This game may be quite old, but still fun. I can't help thinking you should make a completly new one lik ethis, as per say more up to date and such improving all aorund. Though I have yet to check your new account, I may find my answers there.
http://fukuracam.com/contents/fi_co.....res/index.html You actually have to find the game itself, though.
