Another concept drawing I made, introducing the idea of clashing themes. This is more or less here to show and represent how a futuristic human republic-empire made contact with this world of fantasy and magic. How would these two races and worlds integrate? Would they go into conflict? Who would win, tech or magic? In this world, the meeting was by chance, and peaceful at first.
The humans, with their futuristic warships built to sail the sky claimed they walked in the light of another star, and were completely alien and foreign to the native species of dragons and anthros who walked in this world. A meeting of necessity, the race of men mingled and at first, made peace with this strange world, and a young empire thought befriending and allying themselves with this futuristic race of men would be quite the boost for power...
Of course, all good things must come to an end.
