mom and emily dont quite get along. mom is a bit airheaded, which one can see where emily got it by simply observing the tree from which that seed grew. mom tends to take charge, and take control, doing what she thinks best for her daughter, where emily has other thoughts on the subject, which mom tends to dismiss.

Sure it matters in school where it could mean friends, (who only hang around you cause you're popular), but in life...it really doesn't.
So this kitten clearly needs to be re-trained if she's doing all this for the sake of a high-school image. And why should the mother listen if the kitten doesn't listen or cooperate.
