Anyway, I was actually pretty surprised that, for most months, I was actually kind of torn what drawing to use. There were only maybe 1-2 where I struggled to find something good, but I was happy with everything else.

I'm not really sure in terms of improvement, but I think my soft-shaded style and anatomy improved a bit over the course of the year! All in all I think it could be better (but it always could be) but I'm fairly happy and satisfied.

Also, 2017 was the first year I almost exclusively drew as a main 'job' of sorts. Early this year (around Jan/Feb) I decided to drop out of university due to my chosen major not doing it for me anymore, and afterwards I was sort of at a loss what to do next, but I was also kind of happy to just focus on drawing for once. While I'm still not 100% sure what to do next, I've got rough plans and ideas, and know I'm aware that I can get by just fine with only drawing, and I can keep relying on it as a safety net in the future!
