Everyone remembers Frogger, whenther when it was new wwaaaaayyyy back in the day, or as an interesting (and moderately addictive) mini-game in a collection of classics. Cute 'lil critters hopping thru traffic over is what more or less inspired this.
I was driving the other day and there was DOZENS of dead squirrels on the road! It was creepy how many there were. So here I was mourning for all the dead little fuzzies and quietly cursing out stupid Cali- drivers and a squirrel runs right in front of me! I swerve, and it dodges... BACK INTO THE WAY!
Squirrels are cute, but not very good at self-preservation.

Thank goodness, neither have I! That one the other day was TRYING to get hit, but fortunately the other lane was clear, so I had some room to move.
I nearly GOT hit by a jackrabbit (which, of course, isn't technically a rabbit) a few years back. Those things move fast! Hitting animals is something that I have nightmares about; I don't want to kill or hurt anything.
