Shadi had never seen a Sa'Jiir before, she just heard stories about them, but she didn't think they could be so terrifying. When she finally saw one of them and he started staring at her and then running in her direction, she had literally the scare of her life! She panicked, running through the rocks, chased by the monstrous beast who was yelling incomprehensible things in his sibilant tongue. In the end, she managed to hide behind a rock, and mentally thanked all the gods she knew of when the Sa'Jiir gave up and returned from where he came from.
At her age she didn't realize that someone's appearance, no matter how terrifying, doesn't make one a monster, and that the Sa'Jiir was simply trying to help a child he saw wandering alone in the desert.

This is a pretty old and quickly made drawing, but I still hope you like it! ^^ Shadi is younger than I usually draw her here, in case you were wondering.

I'm really liking your take here! :D The Sa'jiir knows he can't chase her without risking her to die or get lost in a sandstorm. Not the best result, she's still a child wandering alone, but at least she's still alive! ^^
