In all honesty I could never wrap my head around the F-4. She was a bundle of contradictions and was so long in "development" that she only came on line in time to replace the F-8 . The dihedral tail meant having to give intuitive commands below one air speed only to be counter intuitive above another airspeed. Yet so innovative that she was better than the missiles she could cary and no guns initially meant she was pants-less until that was corrected. She was caught between doctrines and was interceptor who had to learn to dogfight. Yet as a "ground pounder" I love that bird for saving this foxes tail on a couple of occasions. She was a hot bunny who knew how to fight like a Wild Weasel, and she will always have a place in my heart
Holy Mackerel! I really like the way you rendered the F4 as doing dark, reflective surfaces are really quite a challenge. Still, I've been recently trying to develop a "Look" for some anthropomorphic Rabbit-Women, and this one is not a bad looker at all. I'm especially impressed on how you rendered the velvet surface on her outfit as well.
Many thanks! i have attempted dark surface several time in the past with mixed results: https://rajaahsani.deviantart.com/a.....hale-606950619 , https://rajaahsani.deviantart.com/a.....nger-443306558 . Believe it or not drawing bunnies is harder than i first thought, i tried to get more stylized look without losing to much realism. I gave up and ended drawing her in profile
Geeze! I don't know... Both the images of the Douglass F3d "Skyknight" and the Fairchild C119 "Stinger" are worthy of high end Aviation illustration, and proof that you understand how light works on painted metal surfaces. I just might refer to your art on DA so I scan study your techniques. ...If you don't mind.
