Another item from jewelry class. The base of the dragon is a piece out of an IRS staple cartridge that I made a rubber mold of and then made a wax casting of (I can make all the wax casts I want with the rubber mold, its great). I made the wings, tail and head out of scrap wax I found in the tin foil pan that is kept below the pressurized wax heating devise that we use in conjunction with the rubber molds to make the wax casts. I then cast the piece in copper and soldered a pin backing on.
