Evey object tells a story. And I think when we use something for a long time, we impart some of our essense into things. The blade of this knife has become misshapen form sharpening over the years, but what it’s lost in metal it’s gained in character.

Thanks. I basically apply this line of thinking to everything. I think it also makes things we've gotten handed down from friends / vamily a little more special as well.
