Oh, little did they know the truth that my words carried.

Happy #FursuitFriday! A bit of a special one, marking my first posting of some photos from my first photoshoot with my Quadsuit of Sniper, my Kestrel Dutch Angel Dragon!

For sure, once I was settled in and unpacked and got to spend time with my awesome friends, you bet your tail I was more than excited to take this guy out for a test drive! Err, flight? Gallop? This first photoshoot was more or less a movement test - it was my first time in a Quadsuit, and I just had to figure out how to move to make it appear natural, testing different gaits and postures, poses, and balancing in actions ranging from rearing to bucking!

I also had the chance to test travelling with this guy, and officially debuted him at Anthro Northwest (ANW) right after I got home! I'm looking forward to taking this guy to future conventions.

Stay tuned for more photos, and even some videos in the future as well! I have some fun ideas for running around as a big, feathery dragon. XD And of course, I post a LOT more fursuiting adventures on my social media sites, like Twitter! -> https://twitter.com/Twilight_Saint

For those interested, and barring the many questions I always get when I bring this guy up - I WILL be putting together a 'Quadsuit FAQ' to answer any and all questions about it! Spoiler alert - it's easy to put on, very lightweight, and my back is the last thing on me that gets tired! ;P So take any assumptions you have about Quadsuiting, and get ready to throw them off a bridge, haha.

It's incredibly different than your typical bipedal fursuit, I can tell ya that much! :) But surprisingly not difficult at all for me.

Vision on quads like this one is through the neck. On Sniper specifically, through the collar. :) Hope that answers your question!

I was thinking after reading this comment... the more advanced possibility would be to set up a sort of binocular telescope or periscope, feeding the visibility from the suit's eyes down to the wearer.

An even more advanced solution would be to rig cameras and an internal display.

I've never been huge into the idea of fursuiting, but I would LOVE to have a comfortable quadsuit. Consider me interested. :)

If I ever get a fursuit I think I'd rather have a quad suit too. Its hard for me to walk, so I use a cane a lot. By having front legs that would get rid of the need for a cane because my weight would be spread among all four sections.

How is it to use it for a long time? How is the visibility?

im not sure now the visibility is, but i DO know that you see through the neck of the suit. hope this helped ^^

When I went to AC I was one the people helping a quadsuiter! It takes alot out you, you can't do this alone you need someone spotting you at all times and someone to help you in and out of it, and giving you drinks non stop. Also vision like any other depending on how the suit was made. My friends was thru the eyes and mouth. But usually could see very well and need me to make sure no one jumped or grabbed at them due to many blind spots. Also the suit had ice packs / fans due to you burn up ten times worse than in a regular fur suit. (it is optional but would be commandeered) Also if you have trouble walking, a quad suit is not for you. You have be on your hands and feet and bent in a certain way and walk around on stilts. If you have back , feet , or walking issues I would think very hard on this because after he was done he was a bit sore and out breath. He was very build and big as well but doesn't matter your size it matters how well you can stay in that potion cause its not easy. He only got a hour in or so because it is difficult. Also when sitting depending on how the suit is made , his had some padded so he could sit a certain way but still tricky. mosly you be on your hands and balls of the feet for about a hourish.
