Maleus is a unique bird of Indonesia as they need volcanic heat to incubate their eggs. Because of this need and human encroachment they are getting very rare. It is located in a building called The World of Birds where, for some reason, the zoo's other Tree Kangaroo is located except this visit that floor was closed.
