High on the FBI's Most Wanted list here in the early 1930's is the team of Bunny and Jess, those two ruthless bank robbers who just keep knocking over banks one after another. Can they ever be caught and brought to justice? I doubt it, but only Lady Luck knows the answer at this point!

Hah, you know, the moment I saw this picture I immediately knew that I'd have to find a way to make a "Bunny and Clyde" joke, somehow. But on reading the description, I see you beat me to it! Great minds, I guess, great minds!
Oh, but it's a gorgeous picture, and I'm absolutely in love with it! Liane and Jess both look so utterly badass, and actually really cute in those suits. That is one heck of a spiffy car they've got there, too. The 30's might not have been the kindest decade to the people of the US, but they had some super cars! Salty really outdid herself on this one, and thank you so, so much for commissioning this! *Smooches* You're a doll!
I think I might have just found my new computer wallpaper, too!

Where do you think the idea came from? I wanted to name it 'Bunny and Clyde....er Jess', but it just didn't ring the bell. Great minds indeed!
Isn't the car great? I love those old suicide door sedans the gangsters favored. Salty worked hard on it too, with all the detail. That and the mean looks on the girls. You sure wouldn't want to cross them! I really love the background too. Old dirt road in a forested bayou way out in the sticks, where no one would find them. What fun!
*hugs tight* Wallpaper......a very good idea.

*Grins* I kind of figured that's where you got the idea. I haven't seen that film in years, but maybe I'll go dig it up again. Suddenly I'm in the mood to watch it again!
I adore their expressions. That's really what makes this piece so wonderful, I think. Well that, and all the beautiful detail. But it's the looks on their faces that really sets the mood. And no, I wouldn't want to cross them. But I might wish I could join them!
*Snuggles tight* It makes a great wallpaper, indeed!

That thumping sound you hear? That's my hear beating out of my chest. Oh, my, my, my goodness. You two are gorgeous! I have such a weakness for bad girls, you just don't know. I don't have any money, and I'm hopeless with a gun, but if there's anything this lil vixen can do for you beautiful dames, you just have to ask!
Heh... That's the problem about luck - it eventually runs out. Just ask Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow...or you could once you stop counting all the bullet holes in them...
Great work on the car! It's funny you mention cars and gangsters like that. You'd be surprised at what they favored. Capone's Lincoln required so much armor and bullet-proofing that the company had to custom design the car's suspension to carry the extra weight. Dillinger, by contrast, favored your humble Fords - not because they were luxurious, but because they were fast. With Ford's revolutionary V8 banger up front, they easily out-horsepowered and outran your typical country cops and left them in the dust. Matter of fact, there's a letter supposedly written by Dillinger to Henry Ford thanking and praising him for his fast, reliable cars.
