The Shreem Denecro
Having been with human beings for the last few hundred years, the shreem have been slowly but surely fixiated into every trade thought possible not limited even to medical fields. The Denecro Shreem at birth are trained in large units for medical purposes and once matured are staffed wide spread to hospitals common around the Northern States as assistant nurses. Although rumor has it the Denecro are rather energetic and fidgety this is not the case in both the level and sub species of the Shreem Denecro. Once used for illegal purposes including gambled fights, the Shreem Denecro was soon imported into the medical field due to their precise and often highly sharp thin claws. The Shreem Denecro gains it's name oddly enough from their rather unusual sleeping habits. Unlike many species common on the planet, the Shreem Denecro does not constantly sleep and are known to substitute with high amounts of food for well over a month . Once their sleeping period has been entered the body of the Denecro begins to rot at the upper layer of the Epidermis ( skin ) During this time the body continuously rejuvinates itself beneath the higher epidermis layer with the collected stored nutrients found in their lower intestines. The cycle may well last from a period of a few days up to an entire week to complete. Once completed the old skin of the Denecro will shed, replaced with a finer set. The very act of the sleeping process as some have witnessed often have fooled many into believing the Denecro to be deceased soon enough to be shocked in the end finding the once more awakened shreem thus giving the Denecro it's name. Although bred mainly for work the Denecro are a social breed of Shreem and are known to be playful towards other shreem, however, if in possesion of A denecro without a permit for work it is required to clip the claw tips of the Denecro every three to five weeks due to their hazardous risks. Failure to yield to this law will result in banned ownership of further shreem and possible imprisonment for a period of up to 30 days.
