heehee, i feel ya there. my and my husband's characters are unique because we've done a lot of soul-searching to design them from the ground up, rather than just picking a species we liked. it's both a blessing and a curse however, because a lot of artists refuse to draw us since we aren't 'standard' and don't fit into a mold like say a generic canine would.
