Doodle of a Kosuvan. Gosh, they're hard to draw! I'm not really that happy with this design as a Kosuvan, but its a decent enough drawing. Good cyborgs, tho, I love 'em and I wanna do more with them.

Yeah, the idea is that the limbs are amputated partly so that the parts of the brain responsible for locomotion can be re-routed to work with the robo-body without "feedback". The body itself is left mostly as-is, though, and the life support gear is there to keep it working so it can keep the brain working.
A lot of the first-generation Kosuvan got extracted when the colony was rescued and got cloned/cybernetic/prosthetic limbs to replace their amputated ones.
