It was a long day..or week. month, really. So much had happened in so short a time it was hard to feel like he still had a handle on his reality. It felt as though he were a ghost, or maybe a spectator to his own life. It was time to sit and stare into nothing for a while to let the dust settle and maybe, hopefully feel as though he were in control once more. If only for this one moment.
