There were wall-sconces all over the building- they were each individual in that no two were the same, and it looks like they were rigged for electricity from the beginning, as actual candles would have made a deathly-hot place even worse... They supplimented the many chandeliers and floor-standing candelabras. A pretty expensive vanity in the Turn-of-the-20th-Century. The wood-work it's bolted to is so heavy and rustic, it's beautiful...
