If you ever get a chance, DO IT! The admission is actually pretty cheap for the experience, and you get to go throughout the building and most of the grounds, with guides dressed in period costume who tell you tales of Scotty the grifter and the rich man helived to entertain.
It's in Death Valley National Monument. If you ever decide to go, just ask the rangers for a map or info about Scotty's Castle- they'll tell you how to get there and when it's open. It's a real treat, and the building is just an amazing collection of neat architecture and details. I'd suggest going in winter, as the heat could kill a healthy man... or dragon.
