Last week my wee little niece and nephew came over for a visit, and it turns out they too have an interest in the arts! I guess some part of me rubbed off on them. Better that than the voices.

So yeah, we tossed drawing ideas back and forth and one thing my niece came up with was "animals made of food". If such a thing sprung from my mind I'd normally ignore it, but when spake from the mouth of babes (or rather, from the mouth of eight-year-olds) it was a spark of inspiration for this adorable little piece you see now! Man, I don't even like grapes and this is making me hungry for 'em.

Oh yeah, as I was drawing this she drew me a bear made o' pancakes. I would have scanned it in but she took it with her when she left.
