I have to agree with Vale here. The colors, saturation, and the negative space all around the subject say one thing, then you see the ruins in the middle, and the whole thing is definitely cast into the creepy zone. I love it, however. Great job, Tiberious!

That is -exactly- what I was going for. The influence of Hollywood or authors / artists who deal in darker subject matter tend to create these omens in an equally dark environment of their own, when in reality, many of these 'creepy' places can, and do exist in your own back yard, beneath a brighly lit sky and within perfectly functioning communities. I usually try to mask those conflicting elements in my photography, but eh, why not? :)
