Today Finland, one of my two home countries, celebrate 100 years as an independent state, so to celebrate that I made this drawing. :) For the motive I drew inspiration from a song called
"Valoa ikkunassa" ("Light in the Window"), sung by the late Laila Kinnunen, a Finnish singer who was popular in the 1950s and 1960s. Her song can be found below, together with
an English translation of the lyrics:
