I have read some parts of Spider-Man's infamous "Clone Saga" in comics. A storyline that was infamous for being convoluted full of confusing twists and turns (Spider-Man is actually a clone! No he is not! Yes he is!) and going on for too long because it sold well.
It started when a mad scientist calling himself the Jackal (and wearing a full body green imp/troll costume) cloned Spider-Man to take revenge of him for causing the death of Gwen Stacy.
And during the Clone Saga, there was "Jack", who looked like a smaller Jackal, but was a disfigured Peter Parker clone in a suit... I really liked his suit, and thought it would have been nice if it was a clone of Gwen Stacy who wore it.
