I'm very interested how you get those lines , which look super "messy" if I look closely at them, to form into a piece with this much depth and detail ... Kammy is jealous.
Whenever I add extra detail lines to my art it just looks bad... Like they don't belong.

Agreed! I love how the loose layers of work don't entirely hide themselves. :3 It's nice to see the progress and inner workings of a piece peaking out from the image as a whole. <3 (that's why I love sketchwork so much; it has such a kinetic life to it) It also works super well with Wob's soft, pastel-like style.

Well, most of my work is very value based, so more important than the colors is how light or dark those lines are, and being careful about putting the accents to where I want people to look at! Use them with intent!

Also while working I don't think of the lines as "lines" I usually think in them as describing the shape and direction of a 3D object the best way possible so the lines are a result of a the thinking process (of constructing the drawing) more than a statement in themselves.
