My little brother has always been really supportive of my art. He knows I am a furry and it doesn't bother him, at all. Which is amazing because him and my dad are the only supportive ones in my family. In fact, while my brother is not a furry, he does ask questions about my the community and the roll I play in it, Of course I tell him about how a vast majority of us help each other out and give support where we can. I tell him how we come together when one of us is sad or hurt and needing a friend, and how we encourage each other to follow our passions. I know you all have helped me a lot with continuing to pursue my love of art! Well when he came out as gay, I was just as supportive to him. He was scared to tell the rest of the family so for years I was the only one who knew.

Now, years and years later, my brother is openly gay. He is studying Political Science in school with a damn near perfect GPA, This last month he informed me that what he wanted me to get him for Christmas was to just donate to his GoFundMe when he set it up. I'm like...a donation? What for? He told me that his school was having a trip to Spain to learn more about LGBTQ struggles and laws that Spain has that the world might benefit from. It is all he talks about now. My brother wants to help other LGBTQ people in America. He has talked about it for years, and studies hard so he can make that happen.

I can't afford to give him much this year. I have been really struggling with my own finances, made worse by all the money I have had to dump into health care and home repairs that I cant put off.
