awesome job, looks great^^
wtf WHERE IS MY BAYLEAF CHARCTER AT
well no it comes pretty naturally
I really liek the atmosphere in this. I may be nitpicking about some of the perspective used on the characters and the sand dunes, but I see this more like a children book illustration than a realistic picture so possibly it was all wanted :o
I almost went back through the sketch (as this sketch was done nearly two months ago) to make it better, more populated, and... better, haha, but I ended up just taking the old sketch and working with it to make a bright illustration; I ended up placing the focus more on the colors, the atmosphere, and the process of painting than I did on the scene itself, so I am aware there are a lot of little issues with this particular piece. Hopefully my next illustrations aren't like that!
What did you think of SAI? I've been thinking of giving it a try.

Ahhh cityscape in the backround. I wondered what level of technology was around there.

Love it.
am i the only one seeing, or am i only imagining,
a bit of fun parody of a certain work of 'classical' art?
made all the better by the way its done of course.
satirical by its contrast of unrestrained exuberance,
the one i'm thinking of in both technique, and the
comportment of its subjects, even for that matter,
certain elements of its setting.
if art is in the idea behind it, and how it affects us,
perhaps some day this will be considered a classic itself.
something of an index fossil of the age of furry and cities.
or perhaps of an age as yet unborn.
i wonder if a professional art critic, on seeing this, would deny and dismiss it,
or fully enjoy a good case of honestly appreciative giggles.
