Adopted from the super talented
growling-deer on da,
I-eat-dogs here on fa meet Jestyr.
Jestyr is an ambiguous creature that doesn't care if you call them he, she, they, them, or even it. Taking on male and female aspects because they love to keep others guessing for their own amusement.
A dangerous prankster even as a chick, Jestyr's games are deadly in every sense of the word.
They are a con artist, fooling you into befriending or even pitying them, playing with children, or pitifully acting frightened and homeless. They slowly let their real nature show itself as its pranks and games become more and more dangerous, eventually trapping you. Their victim becomes a toy, and toy becomes a meal.
Oddly enough, while happy to much on cats, dogs, birds, and adult humans, Jestyr prefers to play with and steal or share candy from children than actually hurt or eat them. It's unclear why, and they don't seem to understand that if the children are used as a trap, they end up hurt by becoming orphans themselves. Even to the point that, upon discovering their lack of a parent or both, Jestyr attempts to comfort said child for a short period before leaving to play a new game.
