A piece inspired by two things, firstly the bridge riff from Diamond Head's otherwise crap "Makin' Music", and this picture drawn by 
Ian_R_Soulfox of what I interpreted to be gargoyle, but from looking at tags etc. is defined as a bat-like creature.
As far as meaning goes, it's both literal, and metaphorical. Waltzing romantically with a literal Gargoyle and the idea of taking great risk to do something you enjoy that probably won't last very long anyway.
