The wind turbine was so quiet, my friend fell asleep in his car -- four or five metres from the base. There was one in my town for a few years; I had to wait for construction on the road at its base for a few minutes, and even though the wind was strong that day, the generator made no more noise than the wind through the trees!

I haven't even heard that they are noisy; didn't heard any noise on your video too :D I think such things are for the further development; even if these people who say they are not economicaly profitable are right, such things are the only way into future. Because what is the point of economy if the planet is dead?
Also, these generators are beautiful.
