This is my California scrub jay (Aphelocoma californica) character. She is native to Central California, so a frosted window with a lot of condensation is the closest thing to snow she gets. She is cheerful despite this, of course, because when it's not late fall, winter, or early spring, it sure is scorching hot!! And she is not too keen of that, even though her species is perfectly adapted to those kinds of temperatures- she loves chilliness and "bad weather" the most. She is just glad that it's December, finally!
