Paw prints don't really strike my interest.
I'm not surprised that Kayne is still barefooted in this type of weather because with feet covered in fur along with pads to the soles, they don't need footwear at all. Right?

Presumably with his fur Wallaby shouldn't be too affected by the cold, and any shivering might add to the joke considering where the carrot is placed, and if he really did get cold Kayne will probably know a good way to warm him up. Probably it's all worth it though as Kayne seems quite amused by the joke so as long as his boyfriend doesn't get hypothermia it's probably all good. I suppose though this won't be the first time Wallaby's pulled a prank like this.
Even with Kayne not being too bothered about going barefoot in the snow, I imagine once the driveway is cleared and Wallaby has stopped goofing around there will probably be in front of the fireplace, Wallaby wrapped up in some blankets with a hot drink and maybe Kayne wouldn't say no to a good paw rub just to make sure his paws haven't gotten too cold.
