=^_^= I'm actually against violence towards animals, but this is a comic and there'll be more violence where this came from.

Nah, nah, it's a scriptwriting term. Your villain has to do something egregious to prove it is a bad villain. This is called 'kicking the dog' especially if it is done to something helpless and innocent and completely unable to protect itself.

So your toad just 'kicked the dog'.

sadly that one has been put to the side for now, I am not sure where I want to go with it yet, I mean I have a rough idea for this story but nothing to tie the beginning and the end together XD I have been busy working with my friend on another comic that I want published, so maybe once that one gets out of the way I can focus on this one again :)

if you don't mind, what's the comic about that your working on?

It is taking place in a world of mine that is kinda based on Final Fantasy worlds with magic and technology, it is on a planet that is populated by elves and the world is in grave danger by a powerful demon lord that has moved in. I don't want to give too many details because I am aiming to have it published hopefully by next fall, I need to get working on the drawing of the comic lol, but Ceres is going to make an appearance in it as well as my other character Lyra who is Ceres' niece and a lot of other new characters who I don't post on FA cuz they are not furries XD I have a bunch of their character bios written up and I even made some maps which I kinda of drew from the style that the Skyrim town maps are made. The animals are not earth animals like they don;t have your earth-horses they have something else, kinda how the Final Fantasy world have chocobos instead of horses but my horse-like creatures are based on horses and dog like ones are based on dogs etc.
