Following Maria's deployment to the United States as the superheroine, Alkahest, the ICDF felt it necessary to create a second suit for the jaguar to wear. This one, despite it's darker colors also represents a much more 'heroic' side to the organization and thus paints the jaguar and her superiors in a better light.
The suit offers many functions similar to her original combat armor, and offers just as much protection. Special circuits are weaved into the suit itself, and unlike the original do not illuminate. She can power these circuits with her own body, creating an energy field that can help protect her or be used for offensive purposes (especially against cosmic energy based foes such as The Star.) The gauntlets can be used to focus the energy through at a higher rate than that of the suit's own circuits. Her energy can be channeled directly into the hands and be used for devastating attacks against opponents. The design also allows for a more efficient use of her "Radiation Wave" ability.
