My second sketch. A fattened version of Firebrand

Firebrand is the main character of an old SNES-Game, called Demon's crest, and of the prequels Gargoyle's Quest (GB) and Gargoyle's Quest 2 (SNES), too.

This games are part of the Ghost's n Goblin's series of CAPCOM.
If you want further infos or a look at the original character, google it or try Wikipedia. (There is an nice abstract about these game series.) His kind (Red Arremer) appeares in the other games of the series as an enemy.

He's not the hero you would think off. In fact he's quite evil and terrifying. But he's always trying to protect his Realm from destruction by some (even more) evil force.
