Here is Leo drawn and especially colored more realistically. This is the black background version (the BG was digitally added in via Paint Shop Pro 8). Everything else was traditionally done, freehand in ink and colored with Prismacolor color pencils.
I used black Prismacolor color pencil to shade and to darken the hues along with browns and some greys.
Does he look better against a black BG or a white one (see my Gallery for the original white BG version)? Cast your opinion below ^.^
