whats going on with the eye?

That's a pretty vague question ^.^; I'll try this from a couple different angles;

- The lines going down from either eye are a Western comic effect used to show the cruel intent of bad guys.

- His right eye is done with an Eastern style comic effect also meant to show how vile he is.

- Where his left eye would have been, Nnoitra has a hollow(type of evil spirit) mouth that has a hole going right through to the back of his head. In his big fight with one of the main heroes of the series the hero puts a sword through that hole, and ends up greatly surprised by Nnoitra's counter attack while the sword outwardly appears to have cut cleanly through his head(which would be fatal even to Nnoitra).

i thot it looked like a mouth but wasnt sure if this was just some kind of affect you was doing
