The Huntington Gardens has this amazingly beautiful Chinese garden area, complete with a Tea-house, koi-pond and meandering paths of gorgeously-arranged gardens.
These koi were so large and colourful, the pond so pretty and the shadows from the Pavilion so artful, this pic just had to be taken.

Oooh! Lucky you! One thing I'll want to build in a nice shaded spot, when Kani and I finally get a house, is a koi pond big enough to house several this size. These fish were BIG- at least a foot and a half long. Not a size I would expect with essentially what looks like a goldfish. I realize they aren't the same kind of carp, but those colours...
