Caught this gull 'nackin' down on some crab, his watchful, beady eyes on the look-out for interlopers who'd gladly steal his dinner. The scenes from "Finding Nemo" with the gulls are not all that far off ("Mine! Mine! Mine? MINE!")- they're noisy, stubborn and persistant birds who'll steal even scraps from each other, but they're fun to watch in their scrapping.

Same! Kani's family has a circle of friends who are pretty awesome in the kitchen. One lady made the most amazing dips and little nibblies for a party she gave... Guhhhhh- I almost didn't wanna bother with the rest of the dinner, that crab dip was so good! Had some realy good crab-cakes, Chinese-style from a buffet
