I haven't used blower fans since some experiments with the first hyena head, but I think I'm gonna give it another shot. Since she'll have a large wide muzzle it should fit well.
Matrices suggests ventilation holes in the base of the ears, and I'm skeptical that they do much good..even with the silly little 40mmx10mm fans that people like putting in them...without some way to let them move air across the skull.
Unforunately the balaclava method that I'm enamored of lately ends up really form-fitting around the head. But I have some sheets of closed-cell foam, maybe 1/2" thick...perhaps I could use little sections of it with channels between to give the air space to move?
This will be pretty restrictive, but being able to push air against resistance is the specialty of blower fans.
So let the all-mesh eyes be the intake, then have channels across the forehead and shorter ones leading to the mouth cavity. That's the theory, we shall see!

Stiching in hard to reach areas definitely isn't fun. :/
I have not started yet, got distracted on finishing touches to the sparkleyeen since there's a con approaching. Very much looking forwards to it when I have time again though! I'll definitely post progress pics!
The face on your marten looks great, so smooth! Looking forwards to seeing more of it!
