I had to strip everything from the room do to water damage. I am working alone and can not lift the drywall which is very bulky and heavy to the ceiling and needed something to hold it up as I screwed the drywall to the ceiling.

This contraption took me a week to design and build. One of the many issues was I needed it for other rooms and had to be able to disassemble it and put it back together.

Do to very tight cost constraints (insurance did not cover the damage and I have to pay for this out of my own pocket) I had to find the lumber where ever I could.

The 2 by 4s that drop at an angle is what the drywall actually sits on the rest is just supporting framing.
