Remember that lovely hawk perched on a pole in that "should be cast in bronze" pose? The same bird, just after taking off- must've seen something tasty in a field. Now, I'm not certain this is a Red-Tailed, as the colouring on the tail isn't very vibrant, But, I've also read that the colour is sometimes absent or faded-looking in youngsters just fledging into their adult plumage. All the other features seem right from the research I did, so I'm gonna say this is a Red-Tailed for now. :)
